Congrats!!!

I just wanted to give a quick shout-out to my 2 dear friends, Megan K. & Jackie H. Both ladies have just found out what they are having for babies come this June. Megan found out last week that she's having a little girl & Jackie just found out today she's having a boy. Do I hear boyfriend/girlfriend in their futures?

Manicured Nails

If you're anything like me then you love getting your nails done just as much as I do. It's like a SPA DAY. Man oh man I do love me spa day's! I think the last full spa day I had was right before my wedding 2.5 years ago. So sad. This should be a hint to my husband but I don't think he gets around to reading my blog very often.

The reason for my post is to let you & anyone else in on a new discovery. OPI Axxium Gels. They are amazing! I mean I've tried acrylic nails time & time again & I always just feel so... fake when I wear them. I have good strong nails but I can never get my polish to last. Chipping, breaking & never lasting longer than 2 days. I love having polish on since I think that looks so much better than plain Jane nails but lately that's what I've been doing since I get so dang frustrated just trying to keep my polish to stick.

She's awesome & so fun & nice to talk to. I first had OPI Red applied to my nails & the color lasted for 2 weeks. 2 weeks I tell you! No chipping, no nothing! I just went back in on Saturday, 1/2, & she applied OPI Passion & so far, so good.

I just love this product! It's a very thin gel nail polish that's applied right over your natural nail & you would NEVER EVER even know that it wasn't just your typical polish. So if you are interested at all, check it out. In my opinion, it's well worth the money knowing that my hands look as good as I feel.

I'm attaching 2 pictures I took of my nails. Not the best quality since taken with my phone but you can see how natural they look. No thick acrylics. It's just a thicker nail polish that actually lasts.
